Flyers forward Riley Cote will team up with the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America to host the inaugural Cote Carnival, August 17 at Swanky Bubbles in Cherry Hill, NJ from 1-4 p.m. Tickets are $50 for adults and $20 for children under 21 and includes food, drink, entertainment and more. Tickets are on sale at philadelphiaflyers.com. All proceeds benefit MSAA.
“The carnival shows my commitment to raising awareness for multiple sclerosis and ultimately knocking out the brutal disease,” Cote said. “I’ve seen first-hand how this disease affects people through my sister, Jamie, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis eight years ago. I am going to do what I can to reach out and make people aware of this disease.”
Fans can meet and get autographs from members of the current team and alumni while getting the chance to win and bid on Flyers merchandise and other great prizes. A small donation will be required for autographs.
The carnival also features live entertainment, music by Split Decision and a game room, presented by Best Buy of Cherry Hill for fans to rock out to Guitar Hero and other Nintendo Wii games. Food, drink and tasty desserts, provided by Wegman’s, will be available throughout the carnival.
