It seems Chan Ho Park’s $1.2 million with the Yankees isn’t quite the payday he was looking for.
After hesistating when the Phils offered him a cool $3 mill for a one-year stay, Chan Ho decided to test the waters. It seems the waters were mighty cold that day.
By the time he agreed to Philadelphia’s offer, it had left the table. Now he’s stuck in petty New York.
Just for the record: The Yankees photoshopped out the guys no longer on the team from the World Series photos they have from last year. All World Series photos they publicize in 2010 will not include Hideki Matsui or Johnny Damon. They were there, right? They helped you win, right? Well, Matsui only got the World Series’ MVP award after hitting .615 and knocking in three homers and eight runs.
