It may be hard for one player to go on a hitting streak, but what if you have the whole MLB in your line-up? Could you pick at least one player in all the games of a specific day that will get a hit?
MLB thinks you can’t and is issuing this challenge: Pick one MLB player everyday who you think will get a hit and the first consecutive 57-hit streak wins $3,000,000.
The game is called Beat the Streak and for some reason I feel the odds are in the players’ favor. There will be only one winner, and play is underway. I don’t find this to be too challenging a task (unless I just know nothing about these probabilities).
